The only way he gets a chance to make the team is when the Canes trade one of their goalies and a starting D-man for the better goalie that they need.

I'd have to say it's a bad sign that they re-up him and loan him to Sweden when training camp supposed to start in what 10 days. That's a whole lot of travel during Christmas. Maybe I misread it but why loan him to Sweden when training camp open on on New Year's Eve or whatever day

Wasn't he already playing there on his own? And the Sabres just made it OK with him staying there.

Now that makes sense. Just the timing seemed weird for him to re-sign then send them to Sweden and then have them back for training camp in 10 days. Maybe it became an official loan since he's already there which couldn't be official till he was under contract. I generally don't follow the Hurricanes but I saw someone signs that isn't on any other site so I read up on it here. There was no official post on Sportsnet or tsn yet the two sites I generally go to First. Hell still isn't 10.30 Sunday morn. Est
